Who we are
JovaMedia operates www.jovamedia.com, a digital agency website based in London, UK. For questions about your information, email support.jovamedia@gmail.com.
Enquiries and your information
When you select Send enquiry, your name, email, company, service interest, timing and message are sent securely to our website server and forwarded to JovaMedia through Resend, our email delivery provider. Your email address is used as the reply-to address. We do not subscribe you to marketing or store enquiries in a website database. Our delivery provider and email inbox process the message to deliver and handle your request.
To reduce repeated submissions and abuse, the endpoint uses a short-lived, in-memory hash of the request IP address and random request identifiers. Enquiry contents and email credentials are not written to application logs.
Why we use enquiry information
We use enquiries to respond to requests, discuss potential projects and provide agreed services. Where relevant, this is to take steps at your request before a contract or perform a contract. We also have a legitimate interest in handling business correspondence and protecting our services, and may keep records to meet legal obligations. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing.
Free resources and newsletter
When you request a checklist, we use your email and optional first name to send it through Resend. Requesting a resource does not subscribe you to marketing. If you use the newsletter form, we send a confirmation link valid for 24 hours. You must confirm before we add you to our newsletter segment in Resend. We record the confirmation date and the consent wording version. Newsletter emails contain an unsubscribe option. We do not override an existing unsubscribe through an old confirmation link.
We use your newsletter consent to send occasional marketing emails. We keep the subscription record while it is needed for this purpose and retain unsubscribe information to respect your choice. Resource and confirmation delivery records are processed by Resend. Confirmation tokens are encrypted and removed from the browser address when the confirmation page opens. These forms also use short-lived request limits to reduce abuse.
Optional analytics and your choice
Optional Vercel Web Analytics is disabled until you select Accept analytics, and only operates when analytics is enabled for this website. Reject analytics leaves it off. When enabled and accepted, it helps us understand page visits and device or browser characteristics. We do not send enquiry fields as analytics events; URL query strings and fragments are removed from the events sent by our integration.
We store your acceptance or rejection and the time of your choice in your browser’s local storage under jovamedia-consent-v1 for up to 180 days. This preference storage is used to remember your privacy choice. You can change it at any time through Cookie settings in the footer. Rejecting after accepting stops future analytics and reloads the page to remove the loaded analytics code; it does not undo information already sent.
Hosting and service providers
The website is hosted on Vercel. Hosting providers may process technical request information, such as IP addresses, for delivering and securing the website, separately from optional analytics. Resend and our email provider process messages you choose to send. See Resend’s privacy policy. These services may involve processing outside the UK, subject to the providers’ applicable data protection arrangements. See Vercel’s privacy policy for its handling of information.
Retention
We retain enquiry correspondence and project records only for as long as needed to handle the request, deliver services or meet relevant legal obligations. Retention depends on the type and purpose of the record. You may ask us about information relating to you using the contact address above.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal information, restrict processing, object to processing or receive information in a portable form. Where we rely on consent, you can withdraw it. You can also raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
External links and changes
External websites have their own privacy practices. We will update this page when the way this website handles information changes.
