Product discovery
Collections, navigation, product detail and agreed search or filtering needs.
Collections and product details shaped around your catalogue.
An online shop needs more than attractive product cards. We plan how people discover a product, understand the details and complete the agreed purchase journey.
Designed for businesses across the UK. Scope, ownership and next steps agreed before the build.

The right ecommerce website depends on your catalogue, stock process, delivery arrangements and payment needs. We map these before recommending a platform or custom build. A small product collection and a shop with many variants need different structures, administration and testing.
From the first browse to the next order.

Collections and product details shaped around your catalogue.

Cart, checkout, payment and order confirmation requirements, scoped around the chosen platform.
Payment, delivery and returns information considered together.

Product entry, stock responsibilities, delivery rules, account ownership and handover.
A practical product and order-management workflow.

We start with your catalogue: product types, variants, stock information, photographs and the details customers compare before buying. Collection navigation, filtering and search are chosen around the range. A shop with a few products has different requirements from a catalogue with many sizes, materials and stock rules.
The product page needs to explain what someone will receive, the relevant options and the next step. We plan how delivery information, returns information and contact routes fit the purchase journey. Your policies and operational details come from the business and are reviewed with you before publication.

An attractive storefront is only one part of ecommerce development. The brief also needs payment-provider availability, delivery regions, tax configuration, order emails, stock updates and the way your team fulfils orders. Shopify or another established platform may be a better fit than a custom checkout; that decision follows the requirements.
For an existing store, we review the product data, important URLs and third-party apps before planning migration. Platform subscriptions, app licences and payment charges remain separate from the build quote. We describe the delivered work accurately: a retail catalogue project is evidence of product browsing, not proof of a complete transactional checkout.
We can assess a Shopify website against another supported platform or a custom build. The choice follows the required checkout, catalogue, integrations and ongoing budget. Platform subscriptions, payment processing, apps, delivery services and support can have separate costs. The written proposal confirms the selected technology and what we will configure.
A useful brief makes the quote clearer. Share what you have, what customers need to do and who will manage the website or system after launch.
Ecommerce work is quoted after the catalogue and checkout scope are understood. A product showcase and a transactional online shop are different jobs; a business-website starting price does not automatically include checkout.
Practical answers before you decide on the next step.
We can scope Shopify design and setup when its platform and checkout suit the brief. Product migration, paid themes, apps and custom integrations must be agreed separately.
We review export options, content and existing URLs before agreeing a migration. A redirect and data-checking plan is part of the migration scope.
We can scope product variants, stock rules and the way options are presented. The number of products, variant structure and chosen platform affect the setup and quote.
Supported payment and delivery integrations can be included in the agreed scope. Your provider account, supported regions, fees, tax settings and order-handling process need to be checked first.
We agree product and order-management access, permissions and handover for the chosen platform. Ongoing product entry, content updates and support are separate unless included in the quote.
